'Cautious optimism' on county's market town high streets
The Gloucestershire Market Towns Forum, a membership organisation of rural market towns and large parishes, initially published research into the impact the recession was having on the high streets of its member communities in May this year. Last month, GMTF went back to the towns to ask about the current situation and has produced an updated report – which indicates that locally, the economic climate is improving.
