For advice on average wage rates by occupation, the Jobcentre Plus website also has a facility to ‘Search For A Job’, this allows a geographic search to be undertaken for vacancies by job type and level of ability.
Our aim is to improve the natural flow of skilled labour between local companies, and to identify gaps in the skills market, which can be tackled through training and education initiatives carried out by key partners.
